Post-construction: what “move-in ready” really means

Site ready for detailed post-construction cleaning

Builders often leave a space “broom clean.” That is rarely the same as healthy, dust-free, and safe for furniture and air systems. Here is how we approach post-construction work for homes and commercial suites.

Fine dust hides everywhere

Sheetrock and sawdust settle into vents, closet tracks, and the tops of door frames. Without HEPA-focused vacuuming and damp wiping, that dust recirculates the first week you live or work in the space.

Adhesives, labels, and protective film

Windows, appliances, and fixtures frequently ship with films and stickers. Removing them with the wrong product can etch glass or damage finishes. We use manufacturer-safe methods and spot-test when needed.

Interior finishes protected during post-construction cleaning
Trained crews bring the right tools for debris, dust control, and detail work—without rushing delicate surfaces.

Kitchens and baths deserve a reset

  • Inside cabinets and drawers (construction dust loves corners).
  • Plumbing fixtures and grout haze on tile.
  • Light fixtures and mirrored surfaces.
  • Garage or service entries where crews tracked material in and out.

Whether you are a homeowner wrapping a renovation or a contractor handing over keys, we align the scope with your punch list so the final clean supports your walkthrough—not the other way around.
